In RE, we have been learning about The Beatitudes and how Christians apply the principles and teachings in their daily life. We discussed the meaning behind each Beatitude and how it might look like in our daily interactions with our friends, family members and others in the wider community. Can you guess which Beatitude each frieze represents?
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Comments are closed.
