Beekeeper visit - May 2026

We were delighted to welcome Annie from the London Beekeepers Association, who delivered special beekeeping sessions for every class. The visit was part of the School Food Matters Honeybee Programme.

Children learned about honeybees, their anatomy, the nest and life cycle, the importance of bees in food production and bee products such as honey. They had the opportunity to look at live bees in an observation hive - and they had LOTS of questions!
