School Meals

We would like the children to make a firm, regular commitment to school dinners or packed lunch.
Children may only change their meal option half termly.

From September 2023 the Mayor of London announced that all primary school children who attend state schools in London will receive a full, nutritious meal. This means that children from Reception to Year 6 can have a school meal every day at no charge.

School meals are prepared on site every day by our catering company, Caterlink. Please inform the school office if you would prefer to send your child to school with a packed lunch so that we can prepare the correct number of school meals each day.

Free School Meals

Despite all children from Reception to Year 6 receiving a school meal at no cost, there is also an entitlement called "Free School Meals" which, if eligible, may mean that your child is entitled to additional benefits such as reduced costs for trips. (If your child is in Nursery and entitled to Free School Meals they can also receive a school meal every day at no cost.)
If you are in receipt of certain benefits you may be eligible; please check by clicking on the link:

Packed Lunches

We encourage children to bring in healthy packed lunches. This can consist of sandwiches, pasta or a roll, along with healthy snack bars, fruit and a yoghurt. Children are also encouraged to bring a refillable bottle of water.
As part of our healthy eating practice, the school does not allow the following items as part of a child’s packed lunch:
  • fizzy drink, sports drinks or juice
  • chocolate or sweets
  • large packets of biscuits
If you need any further guidance about healthy packed lunch please contact the school office or visit the following website:
