Monday 30 March 2026 Easter Candle Thank you to St Mary's Chruch for kindly providing us with our Paschal Candle. Our children's Faith Group created designs for our candle and our Art Club, led by Miss Williams, showed their creative talent by painting the wonderful designs onto our candle. As part of our Easter worship, Father David blessed the candle, which will be lit every time we worship together at School over the next year. He was so impressed, that Father David has asked us to decorate the Church candle next year!

Wednesday 4 March 2026 Roots of Empathy - special visitors Year 3 are thrilled to continue on the ‘Roots of Empathy' journey. It's a programme that has been running at St Mary's for many years, supporting children to reflect on their feelings and develop empathy for others by coaching pupils to connect with a baby. This year., we have been working with lovely baby Pricillia and her mum. They are visiting us once every three weeks over the school year and we cannot wait to watch him grow and learn from him.

Saturday 21 February 2026 Chinese New Year 2026 St Mary's celebrated the Year of the Horse with wonderful support from our families from our Chinese community.

Wednesday 28 January 2026 Eco Code Workshops Children in Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a micro:bit coding workshop from Digit<all>. They got active with the micro:bit (a small programmable device) to help them develop computational thinking and coding skills.The workshop involved children creating early warning systems and understanding sustainability through the lens of the natural world.
