Friends of St Mary's

Welcome to the Friends of St Mary’s Page section
We are managed and organised entirely by volunteer parents, carers and teachers. The main aims and purpose of the organisation are to:

• ​Provide closer links between home and school, and to bring staff, parents and friends together in support of the school, working towards a common goal.
• Raise funds for the school and for charity
• Provide entertainment for children, parents/carers and staff

We meet once every half term and talk about ideas to raise funds for the school and most importantly put a smile on the children’s faces.
We organise social and fundraising events –

• Who will do the shopping for drinks?
• Who will supervise the children?
• Who will serve refreshments?

We also have the opportunity to meet parents from different year groups within the school.
Everyone is welcome! Parents, carers, grandparents, all school staff and friends. ‘Many hands make light work!

Our AGM is held at the beginning of the autumn term when new officers are elected. All parents/carers are welcome to attend the Friends of St Mary’s meetings.
