Values Based Education Quality Mark

St Mary's achieved this Quality Mark in recognition of the central role that Vision and Values play in all aspects of the School's work in promoting the Education and Wellbeing of all members of our School and wider Community.

Our Values

At St Mary’s, our school values are the foundation of our school; they run through everything that we do in the classroom, playground and our local community.

​The six Christian values were chosen by all members of the school community and are rooted in the Bible. We look to teachings from the Bible and the life of Jesus for guidance as we seek to live the values every day.

​We also use a wide range of stimuli including learning from other religions and inspirational people. The children are immersed in a different value every term and we encourage them to reflect on the value in depth; to begin to let the values into their heart so that they can support and guide everyone in our school community in the choices we face in life.
