In December 2018 the school renewed their School Vision, supported by 6 Christian Values, which lies at the heart of all that they do, guiding all members of the School Community on their life-long learning journey.
St Mary’s held a special School Worship to bless their renewed School Vision. We also celebrated the opening of our Community Hub. The children and staff were joined at this memorable event by parents, school Governors and special guests, including the Young Mayor of Lewisham Adam Abdullah, Angela Scattergood the Lewisham Assistant Director of Education Services and Marcus Cooper, Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Primary Adviser. Father Steve Hall and Father Steffan Mathias from the School’s Mother Church led the worship. |

The Vision is founded on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ and the worship included music, beautifully sung by the children and Bible readings that focused on the coming of Jesus and his message of Peace. A film featuring the children was shown, which demonstrated the School Vision in action every day throughout the School Community, before Father Steve blessed the Vision.
