The School Council conducted a survey in their classes earlier this term about the school lunches. They also enjoyed the opportunity to taste some of the new items on the menu. Nana and her team were thanked for all their hard work in the school kitchen - she and her team produce hundreds of meals each week and always work hard to go the extra mile!
The School Council also took part in an exercise to identify areas in and around school where they would like some changes. The views and experiences of the children really help to inform the decisions that are made around keeping our children safe at all times in and around the school premises. The children also have lots of good ideas themselves like staggering lunch hall queues, having quieter areas to play and altering the games during lunchtimes. And of course the school council decided to create some special bunting for our Jubilee celebrations - all created with their fingerprints! Comments are closed.
